1. Weekly Runs

1.1 Wednesday Run

The weekly runs occur on Wednesday and Sunday.  Wednesday is the track session and it is held throughout the summer at the Attleboro high school track at 6:00pm Wamp time.  This includes a mixture of track workouts aimed at improving speed and muscle strength.  A large range of abilities attend these track sessions, and there are usually at least 25 runners on any particular Wednesday.  During the fall to spring months, there is a 6 mile distance run that departs from DB Sports at 6:15pm (see Sunday Run for directions).

Directions

From I-95 Exit

    

Take exit 3 off of I-95 from Massachusetts side (not RI).  Head east on 123 (aka South Street).  Take immediate left onto Lathrop Drive at gas station heading north.  This turns into West St.  Take a right onto Rome Blvd.  You will come to a point in the road where the high school is visible.  Continue on this road bearing left.  This part of the road is called Rathbun Willard Dr.  Take a right into the high school parking lot.

From I-95 Exit 5

Take exit 5 off of I-95.  Head east for very short distance to "T" in the road.  Take right here onto N. Main St.  Follow until West St.  Take a right onto West St.  Follow to Rome Blvd (just before open stretch of road).  Take a left onto Rome Blvd.  You will come to a point in the road where the high school is visible.  Continue on this road bearing left.  This part of the road is called Rathbun Willard Dr.  Take a right into the high school parking lot.

1.2 Sunday Run

The Sunday run starts off from DB Sports in North Attleboro on Sundays at 8:00am Wamp time.  Again, there is a broad range of abilities running between sub-7:00 minute/mile pace and up.  The run options typically include either a 6 mile or 10 mile loop.  Though, the distance may be increased during marathon season including routes of 11, 12, 14, and 17+ miles.  The location, DB Sports, is located approximately 1/4 mile south of the Hwy 106 and Hwy 152 junction on the right hand side (past Honey Dew Donuts and Dunkin Donuts).  The address is:

Directions

       

 

From I-495, take exit 14 going SSW on Washington St.  Left onto 152 going SSE.  Follow 152 until it crosses over Hw 106.  DB Sports will be on the right after this intersection.

From Mansfield, take Hwy 106 west (WSW) crossing under I-95 and I-495 until reaching Hwy 152.  Take a left on Hwy 152.  DB Sports will be on the right.

From I-95: Take exit 5 off of I-95.  Head east for very short distance to "T" in the road.  Take left here onto N. Main St (Hwy 152).  Follow this road, going under I-95, passing some residential zones in NNW direction until you arrive at businesses on both sides of road.  DB Sports is immediately to the left.

 

2. Course Maps

2.1  The 10-mile Sunday Route

Turn left out of DBSports onto Hwy 152N (aka Kelley Blvd).
Kelley Blvd becomes Taunton St almost immediately.
Continue north on 152/Taunton St. to Wrentham crossing over Hwy 106, Rt 1, and I-495 (5 miles).
In Wrentham, at Rt 1A and Hwy 140, take a left onto Rt 1A (aka Dedham St.)
Continue southwest (1.2 miles) to Beech St.
Take left on Beech (1 mile) back to Hwy 152
Take right onto 152S (Taunton St.) and retrace path over I-495, Rt 1, and Hwy 106 .
Finish at DB Sports on the right.

2.2  The 6-mile Sunday Route

Turn left out of DBSports onto Hwy 152N (aka Kelley Blvd).
Kelley Blvd becomes Taunton St almost immediately.
Continue north on 152/Taunton St. crossing over Hwy 106 and Rt 1
Take a left onto George St. halfway up hill (do not cross bridge going over I-495)
Take left at T in the road continuing on George St.
Continue on George St. for a few miles crossing over Rt 1 and arriving at 106
Take a left onto 106
Take a right onto 152S (Taunton St.).
Finish at DB Sports on the right.
